This led to my first Product Management job offer

Product Management is highly competitive. When I was looking to break into Product Management in India, for 1 Associate Product Manager role there were often over 350 applicants. I’m sure most applicants would have had engineering degrees and software development experience. So how do you even stand out and get called to the first round of interview?

My strategy was to highlight my UI/UX skills alongside my product management abilities. When asked to prepare a presentation for a product requirement, I also included full fledged designs.

Here’s the exact submission that launched my Product Management career. Though I see room for improvement now, back then, this was all a newbie needed.
